Susan K. Vannoni, CEO

Susan Vannoni is the founder of Radiation Oncology Consulting. Ms. Vannoni performs audits of radiation oncology charge capture nationwide, reviewing the billing practices and procedures as well as the documentation process.

She also provides billing education on site to Radiation Oncology centers across the nation. Susan has been in the oncology industry for over 40 years, leading, managing, and educating the field of Radiation Oncology.

Ms Vannoni has been Vice President of Clinical Operations, a Manager, Director of a Radiation Therapy School, Educator and has practiced as a Radiation Therapist and a Radiographer.
Susan has developed and directed the implementation of business plans and policies of new technologies including but not limited to IMRT, Gamma Knife, Verify and Record systems, Intravascular Brachytherapy, CT simulation and HDR. She has evaluated all aspects of technical and professional billing.

Additionally, she was the Past President and Chairman of the Board for Society of Radiation Oncology Administrators (SROA) She was Past President of the Indiana Society of Radiologic Technologists and served on the Board of Directors for Hospice of St. Joseph County in Indiana. She is a member of ASTRO, ASRT, SROA, and is certified as a Radiation Oncology Coder(ROCC).

The billing cycle of radiation oncology is evaluated including an executive oral report summary to communicate the findings of the two day audit. After the auditing process an extensive final report that includes recommendations regarding process and procedural changes to improve the efficiency
of reimbursement is provided. These recommendations may include, but are not limited to: Documentation processes, ICD-9 coding, opportunities for improved efficiency of revenue and more.

Education:
Education is the key to success when it comes to coding and billing. We take pride in offering one day quality educational sessions on site for your staff. We come to you, even if it means on the weekend, so productivity will not be altered. We are partnering with Carl Bogardus, M.D of the radiation oncology billing industry in assisting with educational seminars across the nation.

Management:
